Electric Rotary hearth furnace

The Rotary Hearth Furnaces are used for various treatment processes such as case hardening and carburizing (low case depth), neutral hardening, reheating, tempering carbonitriding (low case depth), annealing etc. The types of products which can be processed are quite varied being Automotive Components, Bearing Components, Forgings, Off Road/Agricultural components, Powdered Metal components and Aerospace components. Generally, after forging and trimming all jobs are kept aside to cool down for further process. The main purpose of this Rotary Hearth Furnace is to utilize the waste heat after forging.Thus being a continuous operation the job will leave the press at about 800 to 850 degree temperature and it will be put in the furnace for next process, like normalizing annealing or homogenizing where the required temperature are between 850 degree to 1020 degree c based on the process. thereby by drastically minimizing the required power for reheating. As the job is loaded at temperature of 800 - 850 degree, energy input to raise the required processes temperature is reduced by 60 %to 65%, with this furnace. we can save more than 60% energy in heat treatment.
