Generally, after forging and trimming all jobs are kept aside to cool down for further process. The main purpose of this Rotary Hearth Furnace is to utilize the waste heat after forging.Thus being a continuous operation the job will leave the press at about 800 to 850 degree temperature and it will be put in the furnace for next process, like normalizing annealing or homogenizing where the required temperature are between 850 degree to 1020 degree c based on the process. thereby by drastically minimizing the required power for reheating. As the job is loaded at temperature of 800 - 850 degree, energy input to raise the required processes temperature is reduced by 60 %to 65%, with this furnace. we can save more than 60% energy in heat treatment.
